The conference venue is situated inside the HKU campus, 10 minutes’ walk from the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) HKU Station Exit C1 (recommended) or A1.

The conference will mainly be held at the Run Run Shaw Tower (located on the map).

How to get to the conference venue

Arrival from the Hong Kong International Airport

The Hong Kong International Airport is around 45 minutes car drive away from HKU Campus. You can reach HKU Campus by Airport Express, bus or taxi.

Airport Express to MTR HKU Station

You can take Bus A10 from Airport Bus station to Shek Tong Tsui Complex, and then walk for 15 mins to the Run Run Shaw Tower.

Taxi

If you are carrying heavy luggage, you may consider taking a taxi directly to the main gate of HKU or to your accommodation. The travel time is around 35 minutes at a cost of about HKD 270 (USD 35). Charges for extra luggage and a toll are applicable.

1. Hotel Jen (MTR HKU station, Exit B2)

10 minutes walking distance from the conference venue, 1 min walking distance to the HKU MTR station.

2. Grand City Hotel – Hong Kong (MTR Sai Ying Pun Station, Exit B1)

10 minutes travel distance from the conference venue, 1 min walking distance to Sai Ying Pun MTR station.

3. Ovolo Aberdeen Harbour

20 minutes travel distance from the conference venue, bus 91 or 7 can be stop in front of HKU and hotel.

4. Ovolo Noho

20 minutes travel distance from the conference venue, close to the Sheung Wan MTR station

Getting Around Hong Kong

MTR (Subway)

The MTR currently has nine routes. The nearest MTR station to our conference venue is MTR "HKU" Station (Blue Line). You can transfer between lines at transfer stops. To pay for the ride fare, you can either use your Octopus Card or purchase a single-journey ticket at the ticket machines.
